Gao Fei, president of China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU), met with a delegation led by Pham Bao Son, vice-president of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in Beijing on April 13.

The two sides exchanged views on talent cultivation, academic programs, and research activities. They also discussed prospective areas of cooperation, including faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, and joint seminars.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation was signed between the two universities.

The meeting was also attended by Ma Xinyu, director of the CFAU's Foreign Affairs Office; Zha Wen, professor at the Institute of International Relations; Li Fujian, associate research fellow at the Institute of Asian Studies; and Li Zhengyang from the Secretariat of the Research Center on Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity.
Founded in 1906 and directly administered by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, VNU, Hanoi, plays an important role in Vietnam's higher education system, undertaking tasks in talent development, continuing education, scientific research and application, and international cooperation.
