The meeting was also attended by Ma Xinyu, director of the CFAU Foreign Affairs Office, and Qu Dan, the office's deputy director.
Sun introduced the CFAU's educational features and course resources, and reviewed the diplomat training program conducted last year for South Africa's DIRCO. She also provided an overview of the programs being offered by the School of International Economics and Trade of the CFAU, as well as AI-related courses at the university.
Sun expressed the hope that both sides would strengthen exchanges in diplomat training programs and expert lectures, and further deepen their cooperation.
For her part, Bhengu gave a briefing on the diplomat training programs at the DIRCO Diplomatic Academy.
She also expressed a willingness to boost cooperation with the CFAU in such areas as diplomatic capacity building and exchange programs, and draw on the CFAU's educational experience to provide South African diplomats with training on China's foreign policy, regional cooperation and global partnerships.
